OVERVIEW

To create the all-new i30, we went to the heart of modern automotive design, Europe. We hand–picked the design team, housed them in our purpose-built, state-of-the-art Hyundai Design Studio in Russelsheim Germany, then handed them a single challenge: Take the all-new generation i30 beyond the expected.

You’re going to read a bit about ‘Fluidic sculpture’. This nifty turn-of-phrase is the design philosophy that underpins every new Hyundai. The all-new i30 is another step forward for this progressive concept. The goal was to create a new Hyundai born for the roads of Europe - yet destined to turn heads
around the world and here, in New Zealand.
The result is the sporty, dynamic exterior you
can see, and it clearly sets the all-new
i30 apart from the rest of the small-car
category.

EXTERIOR

The crucial design element at the heart of the New Generation Hyundai i30 is the creation of a softer, lower character-line, rising up the car's side. Look at it, and you find your eye is irresistibly drawn along the all-new i30. It appears to be always in motion, even when it’s parked.

INTERIOR

The interior of the all-new i30 is about creating more room for heads, legs and elbows; and space for passengers, families, and places for all of your stuff.

Every square centimeter oozes quality - from the tactile surfaces to the relaxing cool-blue lighting. The result is a car that delivers more comfort mile after mile.

PERFOR- MANCE

The all-new i30 range is designed to combine the need for power with fuel-efficiency. Choose between two fuel-saving engine options: the highly efficient petrol engine or the economy-minded, yet performance driven turbo-diesel engine. Either option keeps CO2 emissions as low as possible thanks to the all-new i30’s fully-integrated, advanced technology.
