Hyundai Brings Home another Gold in the build up to the 2010 World Rowing Championships!
Hyundai sponsored athletes, Peter Taylor and Storm Uru, have won the latest World Cup race, at Lucerne in Switzerland.
Storm and Peter, graduates of Hyundai's Pinnacle Programme and current World Champions, were unrivaled at the competition, qualifying top and waltzing through the semi-final.
Most satisfyingly, they dictated terms right through the 2,000 metres final of the men's lightweight double scull Cup event, finishing more than a length clear.
The strong finish will be a boost for Peter and Storm, who will now return home in the build up for the 2010 World Rowing Championships on our home turf at Lake Karipiro.
Being 100% New Zealand owned and locally operated, Hyundai are incredibly proud of Storm and Peter's efforts in representing New Zealand in rowing.
